| Saving Relationship - Relationship Mud Puddle |
Have you ever wondered why people experience the same type of relationship problems, over and over again, with different partners or even the same one?
Many people are just plain baffled when they find themselves in this predicament, and usually conclude that their partner is the problem and they feel victimized!
However, I have a different stance on this that can best be exemplified by Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day. If you look closely at the story line there is a deep profound message here, for relationships. Murray plays a jaded weatherman that is forced to relive the same day over and over again. His desperate attempts to change the day fail, and he is forced to step in the proverbial mud puddle of life again and again! It is only when he learns not to manipulate people and lie for his own personal gratification and to act out of compassion, understanding, forgiveness and love that he got a different result.
Perhaps, the answer to attracting the kinds of relationships we wish to have in our lives begins within ourselves. We are all here for a purpose, and that purpose is to be of service to others. Having said that, I believe that service begins with yourself, and at home! Try changing the way you think and the way you view your relationship by offering more understanding, compassion and love. Give it a try, you may be surprised at the outcome!
Best wishes,
